Kavrepalanchok District ( ne, काभ्रेपलाञ्चोक जिल्ला; ) is one of the 77 districts of Nepal. The district, with Dhulikhel as its district headquarters, covers an area of . It is a part of Bagmati Province and has a population of 381,937. Information Technology Park is also located in this district. Geography and climate Demographics At the time of the 2011 Nepal census, Kavrepalanchok District had a population of 381,937. Of these, 50.9% spoke Nepali, 33.5% Tamang, 11.1% Newari, 1.6% Danuwar and 1.4% Magar as their first language. 42.8% of the population in the district spoke Nepali, 0.8% English and 0.6% Tamang as their second language.
