Man One
Man One (b. Alejandro Poli Jr., 1971, in East Los Angeles) is a Los Angeles-based Mexican-American mural and graffiti artist best known for popularizing West Coast graffiti to an international audience and defining graffiti as a serious contemporary art form. Man One "never saw painting murals or doing graffiti as a ‘ghetto’ influence," but rather as a progression of contemporary art. Childhood and education Man One is a first-generation American whose parents immigrated from Mexico to LA in the late 1960s. He began doing graffiti as a child in the 1980s, eventually graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in art. Atlas (graffiti Artist)
Rick Ordonez, also known as Atlas and known colloquially as the "kitty cat tagger," is an American graphic designer and graffiti artist from Alhambra, California. In early 2010, Atlas transitioned from creating large ornate graphics to drawing stylized cats, particularly on or near Pasadena Freeway. In April, Andy "Midzt" Rios was wrongly arrested for tagging the cats. On June 30, Atlas was arrested without incident at his home. He was charged with allegedly causing $15,000 in damages and faced up to 90 days in jail and 300 hours of community service. Ordonez was described as a “ cat-lover" who kept cats as pets. In an article for ''LA Weekly'', he was described as "a nerdy guy who draws cats." When asked why he drew cats, he simply replied "I love cats." Placentia () is a city in northern Orange County, California. The population was 51,233 during the 2020 census, up from 46,488 in the 2000 census. This includes the community of Atwood, which is included in the city of Placentia, and is located in its southeastern quadrant. California State Route 57
State Route 57 (SR 57), also known as the Orange Freeway for most of its length, is a north–south state highway in the Greater Los Angeles Area of the U.S. state of California. It connects the interchange of Interstate 5 (I-5) and SR 22 near downtown Orange, locally known as the Orange Crush, to the Glendora Curve interchange with I-210 and SR 210 in Glendora. The highway provides a route across several spurs of the Peninsular Ranges, linking the Los Angeles Basin with the Pomona Valley and San Gabriel Valley. A predecessor to this road ran through Brea Canyon by the early 20th century and was added to the state highway system. Roy Choi (born February 24, 1970) is a Korean-American chef who gained prominence as the creator of the gourmet Korean-Mexican taco truck Kogi. Choi is a chef who is celebrated for "food that isn't fancy" and is known as one of the founders of the gourmet food truck movement.
