Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies Academy is a women's soccer academy based in Pretoria, South Africa. The U/20 team competes in the SAFA Women's Regional League, Tshwane Women's Regional League, the third tier women's league in South Africa while the U/14 and U/16 teams compete in the Gauteng Women's Development League, the Gauteng regional women's football league for U/14 and U/16 teams in the province. It is the academy team of Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies. U/20 In March 2024, they were runners up of the Pirates Cup (Women). They lost 4-3 via penalties to JVW B after the match ended in a 1–1 draw. In July 2024 they won their maiden Engen Knockout Challenge defeating defending champions University of Johannesburg 4-3 via penalties after the match ended in a goalless draw. The 2024 Pirates Cup (Women) was the second edition of the women's soccer tournament hosted by Orlando Pirates. The tournament was hosted at Wits Marks Park Sports Grounds in Emmarentia from 28 March 2024 - 1 April 2024. UP-Tuks Ladies were defending champions. They failed to make it to the semi-finals of this years edition. JVW FC were crowned champions after defeating Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies 4-3 via penalties after the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
