Mamaroneck station is a commuter rail station on the Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line, located in Mamaroneck, New York. Station layout The station has two side platforms, 10 cars long, which serve the outer tracks for the four-track Northeast Corridor. There are 623 parking spaces, including a combination of MNR and municipal operated metered and permit parking areas. Much of the parking capacity is not directly adjacent to the station. The station platforms are accessible to the disabled via ramps, but the station is not considered completely compliant with ADA requirements in that the route between platforms is difficult, and vehicular drop-off is suggested. History The former Romanesque station building, near the north end of the inbound (to Grand Central Terminal) platform, was constructed in 1888, making it the second oldest surviving station building on the New Haven Line, according to a plaque inside the building. Mamaroneck is a village in Westchester County, New York, United States. The population was 18,929 at the 2010 census. its population was an estimated 19,131. It is located partially within the town of Mamaroneck and partially within the town of Rye. The portion in Rye is unofficially called "Rye Neck". The Rye Neck Union Free School District contains the Rye Neck portion of Mamaroneck and part of the city of Rye. Mamaroneck ( ) is a town in Westchester County, New York, United States. The population was 31,758 at the 2020 United States census over 29,156 at the 2010 census. Winged Foot Golf Club is a private golf club in the northeastern United States, located in Mamaroneck, New York, a suburb northeast of New York City. The M2, M4 and M6 were three similar series of electric multiple unit rail cars produced by the Budd Company (M2), Tokyu Car Corporation (M4), and Morrison-Knudsen (M6) for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and the Connecticut Department of Transportation (ConnDOT). Initially branded as the Cosmopolitans, the cars were later more popularly known under their model names, M2 (1970s cars), M4 (1980s cars), M6 (1990s cars).
