Malus (EP)
''Malus'' is the eighth extended play by South Korean boy band Oneus. It was released by RBW and distributed by Kakao Entertainment on September 5, 2022. The EP contains seven tracks, including the lead single, "Same Scent". ''Malus'' debuted atop the Circle Album Chart, with over 201,000 copies sold of its physical, Poca and Meta versions. This album marks their final release with Ravn as his departure from the group was announced on October 27, 2022. Background and release On August 16, Oneus announced that they would make a comeback on September 5 with ''Malus''. Critical reception ''NME'' described "Same Scent" as "new tropical house", penchant for incorporating traditional Korean instruments and culture into both their songs and videos. Oneus
Oneus (Korean: 원어스, pronounced as "One Us") is a South Korean boy band formed by RBW. The group consists of five members: Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong and Xion. Originally a six member group, Ravn left the group on October 27, 2022. The group released their debut extended play ''Light Us'' on January 9, 2019. History 2017–2018: Pre-debut Individual members of Oneus came out of various trainee programs. Seoho, then known as Gunmin, Keonhee and Hwanwoong were trainees for RBW in the second season of ''Produce 101'' during the first half of 2017, and Ravn and Seoho were trainees for RBW on the YG survival show ''Mix Nine'' during the second half of 2017. The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Founded in 2010. History Gaon Chart was launched in February 2010 by the Korea Music Content Association, under the sponsorship of the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the aim to create a domestic national chart similar to the ''Billboard'' charts of the United States and the Oricon charts of Japan. Vromance
Vromance (), stylized as VROMANCE, is a South Korean vocal group formed by RBW in 2016. The group debuted in July 2016 with their extended play ''The Action''. Career Pre-debut Prior to their debut, the four members worked as vocal trainers for Korean pop idols and recorded guide songs for singers. In August 2011, the group's leader Park Jang-hyun was a contestant on the singing contest ''Superstar K3'', but later was eliminated. The following year, he signed with RBW (that time WA Entertainment). Park Jang-hyun and fellow members Park Hyun-kyu recorded "Love Is..." for the soundtrack of the 2013 SBS drama ''The Heirs''. In 2014 Park Hyun-kyu was featured on "Goodbye Rain" by Jeon Min-ju and Euna Kim, future members of The Ark and Khan. ''Teen Vogue'' is an American online publication, formerly in print, launched in January 2003, as a sister publication to ''Vogue (magazine), Vogue'', targeted at teenagers. K-pop
K-pop (), short for Korean popular music, is a form of popular music originating in South Korea as part of South Korean culture.
