Mallory Knox were an English alternative rock band from Cambridge. In 2013, they released their debut album ''Signals'' which reached #33 in the UK album charts. Their second album '' Asymmetry'' was released on 27 October 2014 and reached #16 on UK Album Chart. They later released their third album ''Wired'' on 10 March 2017. Their fourth record, ''Mallory Knox'', was released on 16 August 2019, after which they announced a farewell tour. History 2009–2012: Formation, early releases and signing with A Wolf at Your Door Records The band was formed in August 2009 by lead guitarist Joe Savins and drummer Dave Rawling, who were joined by vocalist Mikey Chapman, bassist Sam Douglas and rhythm guitarist James Gillett, completing the band's lineup. ''Wired'' is the third studio album by British rock band Mallory Knox. It was released on March 10, 2017 and is the third and last album to feature Mikey Chapman on lead vocals. Background and composition Prior to joining the 2015 edition of Warped Tour in America, bassist Sam Douglas began to feel stressed. Initially, he presumed it to be burnout, however, upon visiting a doctor, he was prescribed anti-depressants. They made Douglas feel sick, and when Mallory Knox was on Warped Tour, he was "miserable. I didn't want to talk to anyone."Allen 2017, p. 38 The rest of the band was aware of Douglas' mental state, and subsequently held meetings in an attempt to, as vocalist Mikey Chapman describes, "try as a group to help him through." Rock Am Ring
The (German for "Rock at the Ring") and ("Rock in the Park") festivals are two simultaneous rock music festivals held annually. While ''Rock am Ring'' takes place at the Nürburgring race track, ''Rock im Park'' takes place at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg. Sharing nearly identical lineups, the two festivals are usually regarded as one event. All artists perform one day at the Nürburgring and another day in Nürnberg during the three-day event. The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals that take place in Reading and Leeds in England. The events take place simultaneously on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. The Reading Festival is held at Little John's Farm on Richfield Avenue in central Reading, near Caversham Bridge. The Leeds event is held in Bramham Park, near Wetherby, the grounds of a historic house. Every Time I Die was an American metalcore band from Buffalo, New York, formed in 1998. A Day to Remember (often abbreviated ADTR, and previously known as End of an Era) is an American rock band from Ocala, Florida, founded in 2003 by guitarist Tom Denney and drummer Bobby Scruggs. They are known for their amalgamation of metalcore and pop punk. The band currently consists of vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, rhythm guitarist Neil Westfall, percussionist/drummer Alex Shelnutt and lead guitarist Kevin Skaff. Blitz Kids were an English alternative rock band originating from Nantwich and Crewe, Cheshire, England. History The band was formed in 2006 by original members Joe James, Jono Yates, Nic Montgomery, Billy Evanson and Eddie Hawx. The band was initially named "Rig Up Explosive", but the name was changed to Blitz Kids in 2009.
