Mall of Montenegro is a shopping mall located in the Podgorica, Montenegro. The mall is a complex featuring covered marketplace (the Green Bazaar), a Ramada hotel, and the shopping mall itself. The entire complex was built on the location of former open marketplace, as a public–private partnership between Podgorica Municipality and Turkey, Turkish company of Gintaş. The mall is located on ''Bratstva i Jedinstva'' street, which is also main north–south thoroughfare of Podgorica, and is a part of European route E65, E65/European route E80, E80 European routes. The entire complex has total floor area of , while gross leasable area of the shopping mall is . Besides ''Green Bazaar'', which is a natural anchor tenant, a large Mercator (retail), Mercator supermarket is the largest tenant. Podgorica (Cyrillic: Подгорица, ; lit. 'under the hill') is the capital and largest city of Montenegro. The city was formerly known as Titograd (Cyrillic: Титоград, ) between 1946 and 1992—in the period that Montenegro formed, as the Socialist Republic of Montenegro in honour of Marshal Josip Broz Tito. The city was largely destroyed during the bombing of Podgorica in World War II and accordingly the city is now dominated by architecture from the following decades of communism. Further but less substantial damage was caused by the 1999 bombing by NATO forces. The surrounding landscape is predominantly mountainous terrain. The city is just north of the Lake Skadar and close to coastal destinations on the Adriatic Sea. Delta City is a brand of shopping center, with malls in Belgrade, Serbia and Podgorica, Montenegro. Delta City Belgrade Delta City Belgrade construction began on 22 March 2006.
