Malene Haukøy
Malene Haukøy (born 12 July 1991) is a Norway, Norwegian ski mountaineer, trail runner and member of the national selection. Haukøy was born in Kyrkjebø. She started ski mountaineering at the age of 15 years. Besides several notable results in juniors' class rankings, she placed twice in the seniors' top ten rankings by participating in relay events at the 2010 and 2011 World Championships of Ski Mountaineering, World Championships. Haukøy currently lives in Sogndalsfjøra. Her younger brother Eirik also competes in ski mountaineering races. Kyrkjebø
Kyrkjebø is a List of former municipalities of Norway, former municipality in the old Sogn og Fjordane Counties of Norway, county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1858 until 1964 when it became part of the new municipality of Høyanger which still exists and is part of the new Vestland county. Prior to its dissolution, the municipality of Kyrkjebø included land on the north and south side of the Sognefjorden. Ingvild Ryggen Kristinsdatter Carstens (born 14 October 1980) is a Norwegian ski mountaineer and former heptathlete. Carstens hails from Trondheim, and attended the Trondheim Cathedral School. Currently she lives in Innsbruck, Austria, where she studied at the university. Ida Nilsson
Ida Nilsson (born 8 February 1981) is a Sweden, Swedish long-distance runner who also competes in ski mountaineering. In 2003 – 2006 she won a total of ten gold medals in Swedish championships in track & field and cross country running, plus two NCAA gold medals. After many years away from training Nilsson won the Swedish championship in ski mountaineering in 2016 and a couple of months later won the prestigious Transvulcania ultramarathon.
