Malcolm T Elliott
Malcolm T. Elliott (13 May 1946 – 8 August 2019) was an Australian radio personality, television host and journalist. Early life and education He was born Malcolm Allan Elliott at Coburg, Victoria, on 13 May 1946, to Allan Hamilton Elliott and Marion Rose Elliott (née Walters). Career Elliott started out as a printing compositor with Leader Group newspapers in Melbourne. He entered radio at the completion of his apprenticeship in February 1967 at 3NE Wangaratta, moved after only six months to 3SR Shepparton where he hosted the successful breakfast show. After eight weeks a2TMTamworth, in late-1969 he joined 3UL Warragul as breakfast announcer, then moved to 2KO and 2HD Newcastle before returning south to read television news in Albury at AMV-4 Albury. Coburg, Victoria
Coburg is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, north of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the Cities of Darebin and Merri-bek local government areas. Coburg recorded a population of 26,574 at the 2021 census. Although most of Coburg is within the City of Merri-bek, a handful of properties on Elizabeth Street, Coburg's eastern boundary, are located in the City of Darebin. Bert Newton
Albert Watson Newton (23 July 1938 – 30 October 2021) was an Australian media personality. He was a Logie Hall of Fame inductee, quadruple Gold Logie award-winning entertainer and radio, theatre and television personality and presenter. Newton hosted the Logie Awards ceremony on 19 occasions. Newton was known for his collaborations opposite Graham Kennedy and subsequently Don Lane on their respective variety shows as well as appearances with his wife, singer Patti Newton. Northern Rivers
Northern Rivers is the most north-easterly region of the Australian state of New South Wales, located between north of the state capital, Sydney, and encompasses the catchments and fertile valleys of the Clarence, Richmond, and Tweed rivers. Stan Zemanek (29 May 1947 – 12 July 2007) was an Australian radio broadcaster, television presenter, radio producer and author who presented a night-time show on The Macquarie Network station 2UE in Sydney and which was networked across parts of Australia via Southern Cross. He was known for his forthright, right-wing views and for trading abusive remarks with some of his callers. Schapelle Leigh Corby (born 10 July 1977) is an Australian woman who was convicted of drug smuggling, smuggling cannabis into Indonesia. She spent nine years imprisoned on the Indonesian island of Bali in Kerobokan Prison. Since her arrest Corby has publicly maintained that the drugs were planted in her bodyboard bag and that she did not know about them. Her trial and conviction were a major focus of attention for the Australian media. Corby was convicted on 27 May 2005 for the importation of of Cannabis (drug), cannabis into Bali.
