Malcolm Hill (born 7 October 1938) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Hawthorn Hawthorn or Hawthorns may refer to: Plants * '' Crataegus'' (hawthorn), a large genus of shrubs and trees in the family Rosaceae * ''Rhaphiolepis'' (hawthorn), a genus of about 15 species of evergreen shrubs and small trees in the family Rosace ... in the VFL during the 1960s. Hill was a ruckman and started his career with Hawthorn in 1960. He played three seasons of VFL football and was a premiership player in 1961. After leaving Hawthorn he moved to South Australia and went on to play for Sturt during the rest of the 1960s. He played only intermittently, appearing in a total of 40 games for Sturt over the seven years. Hill was a premiership player in 1966, 1968 and 1969. Malcolm Hill is a British speaker designer. He has focused on public address systems used at large-scale events. Since the early 1970s, Hill's design philosophy has been the "Faithful Reproduction of the Original Sound". Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Hill Speaker Systems were used by many international touring artists. They found use in theatres, arenas, and stadiums around the world, to include Wembley Stadium and Madison Square Garden. In the mid-1990s, under the banner "faith comes through hearing", Hill designed the PowerCube, a compact self-powered speaker. Malcolm Hill (born October 26, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for the Birmingham Squadron of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Illinois Fighting Illini. High school career Following his junior season in which he averaged 23.8 points and shot 44% from three-point range, Hill verbally committed to Illinois and former head coach Bruce Weber on September 12, 2011. Prior to verbally committing, Hill listed Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State, Providence, UCLA, Xavier, and Wisconsin as the other schools he had considered. During his senior season, Hill broke his previous single season scoring mark he set during his junior season increasing his scoring total from 666 points to 708 total points.
