Malcolm Hamilton (bishop)
Malcolm Hamilton (died 1629) was a Scotsman who was the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Cashel from 1623 to 1629. He was Rector of Devenish, before being appointed Chancellor of Down in 1612. He was consecrated archbishop of Cashel at Drogheda by Archbishop Christopher Hampton of Armagh on 29 June 1623. He died of an unknown infectious disease on 25 April 1629 and was buried in the cathedral at the Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary. He had Monea Castle built on his inherited lands in Fermanagh, starting in 1616, completed about 1618, and a bawn added in 1622. Family One of the sons of his first marriage to Mary Wilkie of Sachtonhill was Hugh Hamilton, 1st Viscount of Glenawly, a soldier in Swedish service, who in Sweden was created baron of Deserf. Lord Malcolm Douglas-Hamilton
Wing Commander Lord Malcolm Avondale Douglas-Hamilton, (12 November 1909 – 21 July 1964) was a Scottish aristocrat, aviator and politician. Marriage and family Douglas-Hamilton was third son of Alfred Douglas-Hamilton, 13th Duke of Hamilton, and Nina Mary Benita Poore. He was educated at Eton College and at the RAF College Cranwell. Douglas-Hamilton married twice: firstly in 1931 to Pamela Bowes-Lyon, a granddaughter of the 13th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and cousin to Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. They had four children. Their elder son, Alasdair, wrote a biography of his father, ''Lord of the Skies''. Malcolm Hamilton (harpsichordist)
Malcolm Hamilton (1932 - November 17, 2003) was a harpsichordist. He was born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He studied harpsichord at the University of Washington in Seattle and then taught piano and harpsichord at the University of Southern California for 30 years. Hamilton performed in many recitals and for the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, which he co-founded, under conductors Neville Marriner and Gerard Schwarz. Malcolm X
Malcolm X (born Malcolm Little, later Malik el-Shabazz; May 19, 1925 – February 21, 1965) was an American Muslim minister and human rights activist who was a prominent figure during the civil rights movement. A spokesman for the Nation of Islam until 1964, he was a vocal advocate for Black empowerment and the promotion of Islam within the Black community. A posthumous autobiography, on which he collaborated with Alex Haley, was published in 1965. Malcolm spent his adolescence living in a series of foster homes or with relatives after his father's death and his mother's hospitalization. He committed various crimes, being sentenced to 10 years in prison in 1946 for larceny and burglary.
