Malcolm Cameron (Australian Politician)
Malcolm Duncan Cameron (12 July 1873 – 1 March 1935) was an Australian politician. He was a member of the Australian House of Representatives from 1922 to 1934, representing the electorate of Barker for the Nationalist Party (1922–1931) and its successor the United Australia Party (1931–1934). Cameron was born at German Creek, where his father managed a pastoral property, and was educated at the Tantanoola school. He began farming at German Creek, before acquiring property at Glencoe when John Riddoch divided the former Glencoe Station. He was clerk of the District Council of Tantanoola for twenty years, president of the local progress association, president of the Glencoe branch of the Agricultural Bureau, vice-president of the Mount Gambier Agricultural and Horticultural Society, and one of the key figures in the construction of the district hall and a member of its committee. Malcolm Cameron (Canadian Politician)
Malcolm Cameron (April 25, 1808 – June 1, 1876) was a Canadian businessman and politician. Early life He was born at Trois-Rivières in Lower Canada in 1808 and grew up in Lanark County in Upper Canada. At the age of 15, he found work in the Montreal area, but later returned to Perth to complete his schooling. Business career In 1828, Cameron became a merchant in the Perth area. The year before, he had set up a general store at Port Sarnia (later Sarnia) and, in 1837, he moved there. In the same year, he served with Allan Napier MacNab during the Upper Canada Rebellion. He also set up mills in the Port Sarnia area, became involved in transporting goods and established a business cutting and selling timber. Malcolm Cameron (entomologist)
Malcolm Cameron (1873 – 31 October 1954, London) was an England, English physician and entomologist who specialised in Coleoptera, particularly the Staphylinidae, rove beetles (Staphylinidae). He started his working life as a naval surgeon after qualifying in medicine at the London Hospital and collected beetles during his work at various locations. He is especially known for the five volumes on Staphylinidae in ''The Fauna of British India, Including Ceylon and Burma'' series. He was a Fellow of the Royal Entomological Society. Cameron's collection is shared between the Natural History Museum, London, Natural History Museum in London (55,000 Staphylinidae) and the Museo Civico di Storia Naturale di Genova in Genoa, Italy. Malcolm Cameron (ice Hockey)
Malcolm Cameron (born August 30, 1969) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach. He coached several ECHL teams, including the Long Beach Ice Dogs, Texas Wildcatters, Florida Everblades, Elmira Jackals, and Wichita Thunder. Cameron was also the head coach of the Regina Pats in the Western Hockey League. In the ECHL, he is fifth in wins (401) and fifth in games coached (771) as of the 2018–19 ECHL season. Early life Born in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, Cameron played ice hockey with Dalhousie Tigers at Dalhousie University and Acadia Axemen and Axewomen at Acadia University. Career Cameron played five seasons of professional hockey for several minor league teams. Cameron then joined the coaching ranks as an assistant with the Lubbock Cotton Kings of the Western Professional Hockey League. Malcolm Colin Cameron
Malcolm Colin Cameron (April 12, 1831 – September 26, 1898) was a businessman and lawyer in Ontario, Canada. He represented Huron South in the House of Commons of Canada from 1867 to 1875 and from 1878 to 1882 and Huron West from 1882 to 1887, 1891 to 1892 and 1896 to 1898. He was born in Perth in Upper Canada in 1831. He was the probably adopted son of Malcolm Cameron. He attended Knox College in Toronto, later studying law. In 1855, he had moved to Goderich, was called to the bar in 1860, later became part of a law firm there and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1876. Cameron joined the Goderich town council and later became mayor. In 1867, he was elected to the 1st Canadian Parliament representing Huron South. His re-election in 1874 was overturned in 1875 but he was elected again in 1878. He defended the interests of the salt industry in the Goderich area in parliament. Malcolm Graeme Cameron
Malcolm Graeme Cameron, (February 24, 1857 – August 10, 1925) was a lawyer and politician in Ontario, Canada. He represented Huron West in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1902 to 1908 as a Liberal. The son of Malcolm Colin Cameron and Jessie H. McLean, he was born in Goderich, Canada West, and was educated there. Cameron served on the town council for Goderich, also serving as reeve and as mayor. He was named a King's Counsel in 1902. He ran unsuccessfully for the Huron West Huron West was a federal electoral district represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1882 to 1917. It was located in the province of Ontario.
