Malamorenò is a single by Italian pop singer Arisa, released 17 February 2010 by label Warner Music. It is part of the eponymous album ''Malamorenò''. "Malamorenò" is a Dixieland swing-styled pop song with a 1930s and 1940s-reminiscent melody talking about love, individualism and the end of the world. At the beginning of the song and about halfway through it there are brief shots of a Series 2 Lancia Appia, a nowadays very rare saloon car from the 1950s. The song was generally well received by the media in Italy, who praised its light and catchy melody alongside a more serious message. A week after her birth, her family moved back to their original hometown, Pignola, a village a few kilometres from Potenza. The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) is an umbrella organization that keeps track of virtually all aspects of the music recording industry in Italy. It was established in 1992, when major corporate labels left the previously existing Associazione dei Fonografici Italiani (AFI). Sanremo Music Festival 2010
The Sanremo Music Festival 2010 was the 60th annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, province of Imperia, during the five nights between 16 February 2010 and 20 February 2010. The show was broadcast by Rai 1 and presented by Antonella Clerici. Its artistic director was Gianmarco Mazzi. As in most of the previous years, the competition was divided in two sections. The "Big Artists Section", including 15 established Italian artists, was won by Valerio Scanu with the song "Per tutte le volte che...", while the "Newcomers Section" was won by Tony Maiello, performing "Il linguaggio della resa". For the first time, the rules of the festival were modified so that songs with lyrics in an Italian dialect or written by non-Italian writers were allowed to compete in the festival.
