Malachi Jones
Malachi Olin Jones (born 26 June 1989) is a Bermudian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He has played twelve One Day Internationals to date for Bermuda. He also represented Bermuda in the 2006 ICC Americas Championship and at the 2007 Cricket World Cup. His most memorable moment came when he dismissed India's Robin Uthappa, caught by slip fieldsman Dwayne Leverock, with his first ball of the 2007 World Cup, becoming the second player to take a wicket with his first World Cup delivery (the first being Ian Harvey at the 2003 event). Career Malachi made his ODI debut in 2006 against Kenya and won the best young player award in 2006 during the end of Bermuda's domestic competition. He was included in Bermuda squad for the 2007 Cricket World Cup at the age of 17 which also made his maiden appearance in a World Cup tournament. Seam Bowling
Seam bowling is a bowling technique in cricket whereby the ball is deliberately bowled on to its seam, to cause a random deviation when the ball bounces. Practitioners are known as ''seam bowlers'' or seamers. Seam bowling is generally classed as a subtype of fast bowling, although the bowling speeds at which seam can be a factor include medium-pace bowling. Although there are specialist seamers that make deliberate use of off cutter and leg cutter at the expense of bowling slower than regular fast bowlers, most bowlers employ the seam to some effect and so the terms "seamer" and "fast bowler" are largely synonymous. 2022 Uganda Cricket World Cup Challenge League B
The 2022 Uganda Cricket World Cup Challenge League B was the second round of matches in Group B of the 2019–2022 ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League, a cricket tournament which formed part of the qualification pathway to the 2023 Cricket World Cup. 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier
The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier was a cricket tournament that was played as part of the qualification process for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. It took place in November 2021 in Antigua, with the top two teams progressing to one of two global qualifiers. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards. Therefore, all the matches in the Regional Qualifiers were played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Originally the tournament was scheduled to take place from 18 to 24 August 2020. However, in June 2020, the tournament was postponed until 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In December 2020, the ICC updated the qualification pathway following the disruption from the pandemic. The 2019 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament held during October and November 2019 in the United Arab Emirates to determine which teams would qualify for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament. The six teams finishing highest in the qualifier tournament joined Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the first group stage of the 2020 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The United States national cricket team is the team that represents the United States in international cricket. The team was formerly organised by the United States of America Cricket Association (USACA), which became an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1965. The 2013 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier was played in November 2013 in the United Arab Emirates and is a part of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series.
