Malabar Wedding
''Malabar Wedding'' is a 2008 Indian Malayalam-language comedy film directed by the Rajesh-Faisal duo and written by Ramesh Madhavan. It has Indrajith Sukumaran and Gopika in the lead roles. The story is based on a custom called ''Sorakalyanam'' which is prevalent in some parts of Malabar (Northern Kerala), Malabar in Kerala. In this custom, before the marriage, friends have fun with the bride and groom, by making false stories and playing practical jokes upon them. Rahul Raj scored the music for this film. Plot A wedding planner 'Thaaraavu' Manikkuttan (Indrajith Sukumaran, Indrajith) and his friends always have fun at their friends' by putting the bride or groom in difficult positions. Often they play pranks on them, in turn humiliating them and laughing at their expense. Everyone knows that they will be at the receiving end, one day. Indrajith Sukumaran (born 17 December 1978) is an Indian actor and singer. He predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. Indrajith was born to the actors Sukumaran and Mallika Sukumaran and is the elder brother of Prithviraj Sukumaran. Santhosh Jogi
Santhosh Jogi ( 1975 – 13 April 2010) was an Indian film actor and singer who acted in more than 30 films in Malayalam cinema. He marked his debut in a 2004 Malayalam movie, ''Two Wheeler''. His most memorable roles were in ''Mayavi'', in which he played the main villain role, and in '' Keerthichakra'', in which he played the role of a military officer. Personal life Jogi was born in Eravimangalam, the son of Purathu Sethumadhavan and Komattil Malathi Amma. He completed his education from Vyasa College, Thrissur. He started his career as a singer at local stage programmes. After his debut in ''Two Wheeler'', he worked as a professional singer in Dubai and played supporting roles, often as villains, in several Malayalam films.
