Makutamleni Maharaju
''Makutamleni Maharaju'' () is a 1987 Telugu-language action drama film, produced by B. V. S. N. Prasad under the Sri Krishna Prasanna Pictures banner and directed by K. Bapayya. It stars Krishna, Sridevi, Rajendra Prasad, Chandra Mohan and music composed by Chakravarthy. The film was remade as the Hindi movie ''Amiri Garibi'' (1990). The film was recorded as a ''Super Hit'' at the box office. Plot Pardhasaradhi is a justice-seeking ruffian who has been ostracized by his father Raghavaiah from their village. In the city, Pardhasaradhi becomes a tough nut to gangster JB & his gang. Meanwhile, a wealthy industrialist, Sivaram Prasad, a childhood friend of Raghavaiah visits their village. Here, Sivaram proposes a marriage alliance between Raghavaiah's daughter Sumathi and his son Mohan. Pardhasaradhi secretly attends his sister's wedding where a dancer Saroja performs a program. Rallapalli Venkata Narasimha Rao (15 August 1945 – 17 May 2019), popularly known as Rallapalli, was an Indian actor known for his works primarily in Telugu films and television. He received two state Nandi Awards. Life and career Rallapalli Venkata Narasimha Rao was born in Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh in 1945. He started off his career in 1960 as a theatre artist before marking his movie debut in 1974 with ''Sthree''. He acted in about 850 films in a variety of roles, including that of a lead actor. He also worked as a staff artiste in Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. He played pivotal roles in films such as ''Bombay'' and ''Minsara Kanavu'' in Tamil. Death Rallapalli died on 17 May 2019 at Maxcure Hospital, Hyderabad following ill health. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs. His career in the Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades. He was highly admired and cherished for his deep and thoughtful lyrics in Telugu songs.
