Maksut "Maksa" Ćatović ( sr-cyr, Макса Ћатовић, born 9 October 1950) is a Serbs, Serbian film producer and former president of production company Komuna Belgrade, Komuna. Biography He was born in Novi Pazar, Serbia. From 1985 Ćatović was the owner and CEO of Komuna, working for films including ''Underground (1995 film), Underground'' Golden Palm winner (1995) and ''Black Cat, White Cat'' Silver Lion winner in Venice (2008). Ćatović worked as a concert organizer and promoter for Luciano Pavarotti, Madonna (entertainer), Madonna, AC/DC, Sting (musician), Sting, Metallica, R.E.M, Jethro Tull (band), Jethro Tull among many others bands that were playing in Serbia and Montenegro. Dara Of Jasenovac
''Dara of Jasenovac'' ( sr, Дара из Јасеновца, Dara iz Jasenovca) is a 2021 Serbian historical drama film directed by Predrag Antonijević. Based on the testimonies of survivors, it deals with war crimes and atrocities that took place at Jasenovac concentration camp, which was a part of the Holocaust and the wider genocide of Serbs in the Independent State of Croatia. The film was set to premiere in early 2020, commemorating 75 years since the escape of the remaining prisoners from the camp. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the premiere was postponed to 22 October 2020, and then further on to early 2021. It was selected as the Serbian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 93rd Academy Awards, although it was not nominated. It was also eligible for Best Picture but it did not make the shortlist. Živojin "Žika" Pavlović (15 April 1933 – 29 November 1998) was a Yugoslav and Serbian film director, writer, painter and professor. In his films and novels, Pavlović depicted the cruel reality of small, poor and abandoned people living in the corners of society. He was one of the major figures of the Black Wave in Yugoslav cinema in 1960s, a movement which portrayed the darker side of life rather than the shiny facades of communist Yugoslavia. Biography Pavlović was born in Šabac in 1933. When he was 19, he started writing about film and art for Belgrade newspapers. He graduated in painting at the Academy of Applied Arts, University of Belgrade, and directed his first professional film, ''Žive Vode'' (''Living Water'') in 1961. Andrej Aćin
Andrej Aćin is a Serbian director, screenwriter and composer from Belgrade. In the 1990s, he fronted the gothic rock band BAAL. From 1992 until 1995, he worked as the music editor at the Belgrade Art television station, and, in 1997, he was enrolled at the Belgrade Art Academy on the department for film and television directing. He directed the theatre piece ''Pasija po telu'' (''Passion on the Body''), a semi-documentary ''Moj svet pun svetlosti'' (''My World Full of Light'') and the short movie ''Margina'' (''Margin''). In 2005, he appeared in the movie ''Bye Bye Blackbird'', directed by Robinson Savary.
