Butterfly (Hollies Album)
''Butterfly'' is the second studio album released by British band the Hollies in 1967, their seventh in England overall. It was also the last new Hollies album to feature Graham Nash until 1983's '' What Goes Around...''. This album, like its predecessors '' For Certain Because'' and ''Evolution'', featured songs written solely by Allan Clarke, Graham Nash, and Tony Hicks. The album was a Nash-led project, and he featured as the lead vocalist more than on any prior album. As with ''Evolution'', none of the songs on the album were selected for single or EP release in the UK. In the US, "Dear Eloise" was issued as a single A-side while "Try It" and "Elevated Observations?" were issued as B-sides of the "Jennifer Eccles" and "Do The Best You Can" singles, respectively. In Canada the single "Dear Eloise" reached No. 36. The mono single and stereo CD versions of "Try It" differ greatly in terms of sound effects and vocals. ''Cash Box'' said of "Dear Eloise" that it has "pounding or ...

T/Maker
T/Maker (Table Maker) was one of the first spreadsheet programs designed for the personal computer user and released by Peter Roizen in 1979. The application ran on CP/M, TRSDOS, and later on MS-DOS computers. T/Maker was originally distributed by Lifeboat Associates of New York. T/Maker took a different approach to most other spreadsheets: instead of embedding formulas in each cell, formulas were defined on a per-row and per-column basis in the margins. Although T/Maker was released six months after VisiCalc, it was perhaps the first application to provide an 'office' suite approach to data. Tables could be used in databases or spreadsheets and were accessible in 'word' type documents. T/Maker company The T/Maker Company was an early personal computer software company, formed in 1983 in order to market CP/M and MS-DOS programs that had originally been published by 3rd party publishing houses. They expanded into the Apple Macintosh market, releasing the ClickArt line of clip a ...

Maker Culture
The maker culture is a contemporary subculture representing a technology-based extension of DIY culture that intersects with hardware-oriented parts of hacker culture and revels in the creation of new devices as well as tinkering with existing ones. The maker culture in general supports open-source hardware. Typical interests enjoyed by the maker culture include engineering-oriented pursuits such as electronics, robotics, 3-D printing, and the use of computer numeric control tools, as well as more traditional activities such as metalworking, woodworking, and, mainly, its predecessor, traditional arts and crafts. The subculture stresses a cut-and-paste approach to standardized hobbyist technologies, and encourages cookbook re-use of designs published on websites and maker-oriented publications. There is a strong focus on using and learning practical skills and applying them to reference designs. There is also growing work on equity and the maker culture. Philosophical emphasis ...

Maker, Cornwall
Maker ( kw, Magor) is a village between Cawsand and Rame Head, Rame Peninsula, Cornwall, United Kingdom. The name means ''a ruin'' or ''old wall'' in Cornish, possibly because the church was built from the ruins of West Stonehouse in Cremyll. This origin of the name is unlikely, as Maker is first referred to in 705AD, which predates the construction of the church. Another supposition, is that the "old walls" are those of a (now lost) Roman-British villa. However, another Celtic name is ''Egloshayle'', (not to be confused with Egloshayle on the River Camel) which means, "the church on the estuary". The village and its neighbour Rame are in the civil parish of Maker with Rame and the parliamentary constituency of South East Cornwall. The parish had a population of 1,020 at the 2011 census. History In the late 7th Century the West Saxons and native Britons had engaged in a series of battles near the River Parrett. Around this time Aldhelm wrote a letter to King Geraint of D ...

I think this is the grandest we've appeared." The process took over a year, and the duo said in a press release that "There are no soft moments on our album and that's intentional... Women Who Make America
A woman is an adult female human. Prior to adulthood, a female human is referred to as a girl (a female child or adolescent). The plural ''women'' is sometimes used in certain phrases such as "women's rights" to denote female humans regardless of age. Typically, women inherit a pair of X chromosomes, one from each parent, and are capable of pregnancy and giving birth from puberty until menopause. More generally, sex differentiation of the female fetus is governed by the lack of a present, or functioning, SRY-gene on either one of the respective sex chromosomes. Female anatomy is distinguished from male anatomy by the female reproductive system, which includes the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, vagina, and vulva. A fully developed woman generally has a wider pelvis, broader hips, and larger breasts than an adult man. Women have significantly less facial and other body hair, have a higher body fat composition, and are on average shorter and less muscular than men. Througho ...
