Make A Star
''Make a Star'' is the second EP album by Italian industrial rock band Dope Stars Inc. It was released on August 4, 2006. Following suit of their previous albums, the EP was released under the Trisol Music Group label as well as being distributed by Metropolis Records in North America and Canada, with other labels distributing in other countries. Thomas Rainer, who produced their last album, returned to produce along with Bernd Mazzagg and Markus Jäger. Background Following the release of ''Make a Star'', Dope Stars Inc. were already signed for a record deal with Trisol Music Group to produce one more album. The album, ''Gigahearts'', was recorded shortly after and released later in 2006. Rather than keeping Thomas Rainer as a producer for a third time, Victor Love used his knowledge gained from working with him to produce the album himself. Dope Stars Inc. is an Italy, Italian alternative and industrial rock band from Rome, Italy, Rome, formed in 2003. The band was founded by Victor Love, Darin Yevonde, Grace Khold and Brian Wolfram. They have five albums and three EPs released, with the latest being released on February 27, 2015. The band has signed with multiple labels since their inception, with Trisol Music Group being their first. Currently, their albums are distributed by Trisol in Europe, Subsound in Italy, Metropolis Records in North America, and other small labels including Deathwatch Asia in Japan and other countries. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. Alex Vega
Alessandro Pace (born May 20, 1977), better known by his stage name Alex Vega, is an Italian musician and part-time DJ. Founder of the musical project The Foreshadowing, he was previously associated with the bands Dope Stars Inc. and Klimt 1918. Pace assumed the name Alex Vega in 2005 when he joined Dope Stars Inc. as a replacement guitarist for Brian Wolfram. Pace left Dope Stars in 2007 and left an earlier project, Klimt 1918, a year earlier in 2006. Currently, Pace is only involved in his own band The Foreshadowing. Biography Pace was born May 20, 1977, in Rome, Italy. He grew up there where he began playing guitar casually in death metal bands in the early 1990s. In 1996 he joined the band Spiritual Ceremony until he quit soon after. Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. Samsas Traum
Samsas Traum ("Samsa's Dream") is a German rock band fronted by Alexander Kaschte. Their music consists of elements of symphonic metal, Neue Deutsche Härte, black metal and cantastoria. The name is derived from the protagonist Gregor Samsa in Kafka's ''The Metamorphosis'' (1915). Biography Samsas Traum started in 1996 when Kaschte released his first solo tape. The Birthday Massacre (abbreviated TBM) is a Canadian rock band , formed in 1999 in London, Ontario, and currently based in Toronto, Ontario. The current lineup consists of lead vocalist Sara 'Chibi' Taylor, rhythm guitarist Michael Rainbow, lead guitarist Michael Falcore, keyboardist Owen Mackinder, drummer Philip Elliott, and bassist Brett Carruthers. When the band formed in 1999, they were known as 'Imagica'. This name was inspired by the 1991 fantasy novel ''Imajica'' by Clive Barker. In 2002, they changed the name to The Birthday Massacre after one of their earlier songs in order to avoid confusion with another group. Industrial metal is the fusion of heavy metal and industrial music, typically employing repeating metal guitar riffs, sampling, synthesizer or sequencer lines, and distorted vocals.
