''Makal'' ( Daughter) is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language family drama film directed by Sathyan Anthikkad and written by Iqbal Kuttippuram. The film stars Jayaram, Meera Jasmine, Devika Sanjay, Sreenivasan, Innocent, and Naslen K. Gafoor. The film is produced by Central Pictures, the company that previously produced Anthikad's ''Kudumbapuranam'', ''Kalikkalam'' and ''Oru Indian Pranayakatha.'' This marks Meera Jasmine's comeback film after a six-year hiatus and also her 25th Malayalam film. Rahul Raj (born 17 March 1978) is an Indian music composer. He has composed and produced Film score, scores and soundtracks for Malayalam language, Malayalam, Telugu language, Telugu and Tamil language, Tamil movies. Innocent (actor)
Innocent Vareed Thekkethala (born 28 February 1948) is an Indian actor and politician. He predominantly works in Malayalam cinema in addition to Hindi, English, Tamil, and Kannada films, mostly in comedic roles. He has acted in more than 750 films and is considered one of the best comedians in Malayalam cinema. He has also appeared in villainous roles, such as in ''Mazhavilkavadi'', '' Ponmuttayidunna Tharavu'' and ''Ganamela''. Innocent has won several awards, including three Kerala State Film Awards.
