Mak Kwok Fung
Michael Mak Kwok-fung () (born 23 August 1955 in Hong Kong) is a Hong Kong politician. He is an elected representative of the Wan Chai District. He was the founding deputy chairman of the League of Social Democrats, and was elected to the Advisory Council of the party in 2010. He is a registered mental nurse, was elected into the Legislative Council of Hong Kong from 2000 to 2004 through the health services functional constituency. He worked with Castle Peak Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital, and retired from the post of Department Operations Manager at Kwai Chung Hospital in September 2015. The 2008 Summer Olympics torch relay was run from March 24 until August 8, 2008, prior to the 2008 Summer Olympics, with the theme of "one world, one dream". Plans for the relay were announced on April 26, 2007, in Beijing, China. The relay, also called by the organizers as the "Journey of Harmony", lasted 129 days and carried the torch – the longest distance of any Olympic torch relay since the tradition 1936 Summer Olympics torch relay, was started ahead of the 1936 Summer Olympics. Pamela Peck
Pamela Peck Wan-kam (, born on September 1, 1944) was a Hong Kong radio agony aunt and celebrity and is a former member of Wan Chai District Council. Since 1989 she has been the partner of 'celebrity' lawyer and legislator Paul Tse. Early life Peck came to Hong Kong from China when she was three months old. Her dad died and her mother could not support her, so she went to live with her mother's sister, accompanied by her wet nurse. She says that her uncle was 'dissolute' and would often bring girlfriends home. But her aunt befriended them so that they left. Peck was seen by social welfare officers. At around age 15, she ran away with a boyfriend, missing her HKCEE exams. Career She became a flight attendant and hosted radio programmes when not flying. She went back to school, and later studied TV broadcasting at the graduate school of San Francisco State University. The Wan Chai District Council is the district council for the Wan Chai District in Hong Kong. It is one of 18 such councils. Joseph Lee Kok-long (born 14 August 1959, Macau) is a former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong (Legco), representing the Health Services functional constituency. He is a member of the Pro-democracy camp. Lee is a nurse and a Professor and Dean in the School of Nursing and Health Studies at the Open University of Hong Kong.
