Harsh Ramesh Sanghvi (born 8 January 1985) is currently Minister of State (MoS) Home. In the Gujarat CM Bhupendrabhai Patel’s cabinet, Sanghavi has been allocated nine portfolios which are Home, disaster management and police housing; MoS in sports, youth and cultural activities, NRI, excise and prohibition, border security and prisons. Before sanghvi Pradip Singh Jadeja, Amit Shah, Haren Pandya and Gordhanbhai Zadafia have served as the home minister of Gujarat under the BJP regime. He is a member of Gujarat Legislative Assembly, Majura in Gujarat, India. He was also National Vice President of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha. Early life Sanghvi was born in Surat on 8 January 1985. 2022 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election
Legislative Assembly election was held in Gujarat from 1 to 5 December 2022 in two phases, to elect 182 members of 15th Gujarat Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results were declared on 8 December 2022. The Bharatiya Janata Party, won a huge majority of 156 seats, the most ever won by any party in Gujarat's history. The Indian National Congress fell to its lowest count in the state for 3 decades, and the newcomer Aam Aadmi Party gained five seats. Surat is a district in the state of Gujarat, India with Surat city as the administrative headquarters of this district. It is surrounded by Bharuch, Narmada (North), Navsari (South) districts and east Tapi district To the west is the Gulf of Cambay. It is the second-most advanced district in Gujarat. 2012 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election
The 2012 Gujarat Legislative Assembly elections were held in the Indian state of Gujarat in December 2012 for all 182 members of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. Incumbent Chief Minister Narendra Modi of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), in power since 2002, was running for his fourth term. The leader of the opposition was Shaktisinh Gohil of the Indian National Congress (INC). Elections were held in two phases, the first on 13 December and the second on 17 December 2012.
