Maisie Summers-Newton (born 26 July 2002) is a British Paralympic Swimming (sport), swimmer, competing in Disability sport classification#Swimming, S6 disability events. In August 2018, she took gold in the IPC Swimming European Championships SM6 200m individual medley and set a new world record at 2:59.60. She also holds the S6 100m Breaststroke world record in 1:33.92, which she achieved in May 2018 at the British Para-Swimming International Meet. She won two gold medals for Great Britain at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, Great Britain at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. William Ian Stewart, Lord Allanbridge (8 November 1925 – 21 June 2012) was a Scottish lawyer, judge and politician, who served as Solicitor General for Scotland, the country's junior Law Officer from 1972 to 1974, and as a Senator of the College of Justice, a judge of the Supreme Courts of Scotland, from 1977 to 1995. Early life Stewart was born in 1925, the son of architect John Stewart and his wife, Maysie Shepherd Service. Maisie Ringham MBE (June 1924 – 3 December 2016), later Maisie Ringham-Wiggins, was a British musician. She was the first woman to be a principal trombonist in a British orchestra. Early life Ringham was born in Woolwich, London. Her parents were both musical, as were two uncles and several male cousins. Having taught herself the basics of how to play the euphonium at the age of 6 she began to study the trombone at the age of 10 with her father as her first teacher.
