Butzbach
Butzbach () is a town in the Wetteraukreis district in Hessen, Germany. It is located approximately 16 km south of Gießen and 35 km north of Frankfurt am Main. In 2007, the town hosted the 47th Hessentag state festival from 1 to 10 June. The "Landgrafenschloss" ("landgraves' castle"), used by the United States Army until 1990, is now utilized by the city council. The so-called "Roman Way Housing" of the United States Army with more than 1000 apartments was returned to the German Government in October 2007 and since has been renovated and rented out to the public. The town's market place is enclosed by timber framing. The "Schrenzer" hill (or Heidelbeerberg, 385 m) overlooks the town and the country north of Frankfurt, called ''Wetterau''. Another much higher mountain nearby is the Hausberg which features a look-out tower. Howard Maibach
Howard I Maibach is an American dermatologist, professor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). His major contributions include seminal work in wound management, and extensive work in patient care, dermatophysiology, dermatophamacology, and dermatotoxicology. In 2013, he was awarded the "Master Dermatologist Award" by the American Academy of Dermatology for his outstanding contributions to the practice and teaching of Dermatology. Biography Maibach was born on 18 July 1929, in New York, NY. He graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1955, and completed his internship from William Beaumont Army Hospital, El Paso, TX in 1956. Edward Maibach
Edward Wile Maibach is a professor at George Mason University who works on public health and climate change communication. Maibach received a B.A. in social psychology from the University of California at San Diego (1980), a M.P.H from San Diego State University (1983) and a Ph.D. in communication research from Stanford University (1990). Before joining the faculty at George Mason, Maibach was the associate director of the National Cancer Institute, Worldwide Director of Social Marketing at Porter Novelli and a professor of Public Health at Emory University. Since 2010, he has been a Distinguished Professor of Communication at and Director of the Center for Climate Change Communication at GMU. As of 2018 Maibach had published around 80 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on public health and climate change communication.
