Mahiya Sharmin Akter Nipa (born 27 October), known as Mahiya Mahi, is a Bangladeshi film actress. She is considered as the current highest paid actress of Bangladeshi film industry. She made her debut in the film '' Bhalobashar Rong'' in 2012 which was a huge financial success. Career 2012 Mahi made her acting debut with '' Bhalobashar Rong'' in 2012, opposite to another debutante Bappy Chowdhury. ''Agnee'' is a Bangladeshi action film directed by Iftakar Chowdhury and produced by Abdul Aziz under the banner of Jaaz Multimedia banner. It is a remake of French film Colombiana which was released in 2011. The film features Arifin Shuvoo and Mahiya Mahi in the lead roles and Misha Sawdagor, portraying the main antagonist of the film. The film is about Tanisha, a nine-year-old girl in Dhaka whose family is killed by underworld mafia Gulzar and Haydar. Fifteen years later, a 24 year old Tanisha has become an accomplished assassin. ''Agnee 2'' ( bn, অগ্নি ২) is a 2015 Bangladeshi-Indian action film directed by Iftakar Chowdhury. It is the second installment in the Agnee film series and serves as a sequel to Agnee (2014). The film stars Mahiya Mahi, Om Sahani, and Ashish Vidyarthi in lead roles. Om has played the lead role here in this movie in place of Arifin Shuvoo and opposite Mahiya Mahi. Mahi is the only actress from the previous film to appear in ''Agnee 2''. After the initial success of Agnee (2014), production company Jaaz Multimedia announced the production of the sequel. Sarah Begum Kabori (also Kabori Sarwar; born Mina Pal, 19 July 1950 – 17 April 2021) was a Bangladeshi film actress and politician. Her notable films include ''Sutorang'', ''Sareng Bou'', ''Abhirbhab'', ''Shat Bhai Champa'', ''Sujon Sokhi'' and ''Lalon Fokir''.
