Mahipal Maderana
Mahipal Maderna (5 March 1952 – 17 October 2021) was an Indian politician from Rajasthan, a member of Indian National Congress. He served as the Water Resources Minister of Rajasthan in Gehlot ministry. Biography Mahipal Maderna was born to a farming family of Lakshman nagar on 5 March 1952 . His father Parasram Maderna served as a cabinet minister in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. He was educated as a lawyer, and held an LL.B. degree. Like his father, he joined the Indian National Congress and entered politics. Maderna was elected as the chief of Jodhpur Zilla Parishad in 1981, 1988, 1994 and 2000. On 5 December 2003, he was elected to the 12th State Legislative Assembly from Bhopalgarh. He was elected to the 13th State Legislative Assembly from Osian, Jodhpur. He was inducted as cabinet minister for water resources. Maderna died from cancer on 17 October 2021 at the age of 69 at his residence in Jodhpur. Bhairon Singh Shekhawat (23 October 1923 – 15 May 2010) was the 11th vice president of India. He served in that position from August 2002, when he was elected to a five-year term by the electoral college following the death of Krishan Kant, until he resigned on 21 July 2007, after losing the presidential election to Pratibha Patil. Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan three times, from 1977 to 1980, 1990 to 1992 and 1993 to 1998.
