Mahika Gaur
Mahika Gaur (born 9 March 2006) is an English cricketer who plays for Cumbria, North West Thunder, Manchester Originals and the England cricket team. She plays as a left-arm medium bowler. She played for the United Arab Emirates between 2019 and 2022, making her Twenty20 International debut against Indonesia at the age of 12. In August 2023, she was selected in her first squad for England, whilst still a student at Sedbergh School. Domestic career In July 2022, Gaur was signed by Manchester Originals for the 2022 season of The Hundred. Prior to playing in the Hundred, she appeared for the North West Thunder Academy side, and took 3/25 in a match against the Northern Diamonds Academy on 23 July 2022. She joined Thunder's full squad during the 2023 season. She also played for Cumbria in the 2023 Women's Twenty20 Cup. North West Thunder
North West Thunder, commonly referred to as Thunder, are a women's cricket team that represent Lancashire and North West England, one of eight regional hubs in English domestic women's cricket. They play their home matches at various grounds, including Old Trafford Cricket Ground. They are captained by Eleanor Threlkeld and coached by Paul Shaw. The team carries over many elements of the WCSL team Lancashire Thunder, but are now partnered with Lancashire, Cheshire and Cumbria. 2022 Season Of The Hundred
The 2022 season of The Hundred will be the second season of The Hundred, a professional franchise 100-ball cricket tournament involving eight men's and women's teams located in major cities across England and Wales. The competition will return after its first season, which was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and faced strong opposition from traditional cricket fans. Despite this more than 500,000 tickets were sold for the first year of the competition and the contest was seen as a major boost for the women's game. 2022 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup
The 2022 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup was the eighth edition of the Women's Asia Cup tournament which took place from 1 to 15 October 2022 in Sylhet, Bangladesh. The tournament was contested between Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and United Arab Emirates. On 20 September 2022, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced the schedule of the tournament. Bangladesh were the defending champions, having defeated India by three wickets in the final of the 2018 tournament to win the title for the first time. Nepal Women's National Cricket Team
The Nepal national women's cricket team represents Nepal in international women's cricket. They made their international debut in the ACC Women's Tournament in Malaysia in July 2007. The 2022 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup qualification were a series of regional qualification tournaments to determine the final four places at the 2023 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup. The 2022 GCC Women's Gulf Cup was a women's T20I cricket (WT20I) tournament played in Oman from 20 to 26 March 2022. Organised by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the tournament featured the women's national teams of Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. The Thailand national women's cricket team is the team that represents the country of Thailand in international women's cricket matches. Thailand is one of the strongest associate teams in women's international cricket and has been ranked as high as tenth in the ICC Women's T20I rankings. The 2019 Thailand Women's T20 Smash was a women's T20I cricket tournament held in Bangkok, Thailand from 12 to 19 January 2019. The participants were the women's national sides of Thailand, Bhutan, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal and United Arab Emirates, as well as a Thailand 'A' side.
