''Maherchi Sadi'' ( mr, माहेरची साडी) is a Marathi cinema, Marathi film made in 1991. The film was produced and directed by Vijay Kondke (Nephew of the late Marathi film legend, Dada Kondke). The film made gross income of in first three months after its release, making it the highest grossing Marathi film of all time. ''Maherchi Sadi'' ran for more than two years at iconic ''Prabhat Talkies''. It is a family drama. It is a remake of the hugely successful Rajasthani film ''Bai Chali Sasariye'' (1988) which was also later remade in Hindi as ''Saajan Ka Ghar'' in 1994 starring Juhi Chawla and Rishi Kapoor. Saajan Ka Ghar
''Saajan Ka Ghar'' is a 1994 Indian Bollywood film directed by Surendra Kumar Bohra. It stars Juhi Chawla and Rishi Kapoor in pivotal roles. The whole film revolves around Juhi's character. Usha Nadkarni (born 13 September 1946) is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Hindi and Marathi films and television who is best known for her role of Savita Deshmukh in the popular show ''Pavitra Rishta'', for which she was nominated in Zee Rishtey Awards as "Best Evil Mother-in-Law". Vijay Chavan
Vijay Chavan (2 May 1955 – 24 August 2018) was an Indian film, television and stage actor, notable for his work in Marathi cinema, Marathi and Hindi cinema.
