Edwin Maher is a New Zealand-born TV journalist who worked for CCTV International in Beijing before retiring in 2017. Denis Maher
Denis Maher (born 9 July 1991) is an Irish hurler. He plays hurling with his local club Thurles Sarsfields and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team since 2014. He played Minor Hurling for Tipperary in 2008 and 2009 and was a member of the Under-21 team in 2010, 2011 and 2012 winning a Munster and all Ireland final in 2010. Brett Steven Maher (born 17 April 1973) is an Australian retired professional basketball player. He played his entire seventeen-year career for his hometown Adelaide 36ers in the National Basketball League (NBL) from 1992 to 2009. Brendan Maher (Roscrea Hurler)
Brendan Maher (born 1949) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a left corner-back for the Tipperary senior team. Born in Roscrea, County Tipperary, Maher first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Tipperary minor team before later joining the under-21 side. He joined the senior panel during the 1977 championship. Maher went on to enjoy a brief career with Tipperary. At club level Maher is a one-time All-Ireland medallist with Roscrea.
