Mahdi Zamani
Mehdi Zamani ( fa, مهدی زمانی; born 20 December 1989) is an Iranian track and field sprinter who specialises in the 400 metres, who was banned for two years for doping. Career He started out as an 800 metres runner. He placed sixth in that event at the 2010 Asian Indoor Athletics Championships, held in Tehran, and anchored the 4×400 metres relay team to the gold medal (his first international podium finish). He was banned from competition for two years from June 2011 to 2013 after a positive doping test for the banned steroid methandienone. He returned to action in 2013 as a sprint specialist and after the expiry of his doping ban helped break the Iranian record of 39.69 seconds for the 4×100 metres relay, running alongside Reza Ghasemi, Ali Reza Habibi, and Hassan Taftian. Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. Hassan Taftian ( fa, حسن تفتیان; born 4 May 1993 in Torbat-e Heydarieh) is an Iranian sprinter. He is an olympic sprinter than represented Iran at Rio2016 and Tokyo2020. He represented his country at four outdoor and three indoor World Championships. Taftian won the gold medal in 100 metres at the 2012 Asian Junior Athletics Championships in Colombo, Sri Lanka. On 8 July 2017 Taftian became the first Iranian to ever win the gold medal in 100 metres in an Asian Athletics Championships after finishing with a time of 10.25 seconds at the 2017 Asian Athletics Championships in Bhubaneswar, India. Ali Reza Habibi
ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib ( ar, عَلِيّ بْن أَبِي طَالِب; 600 – 661 CE) was the last of four Rightly Guided Caliphs to rule Islam (r. 656 – 661) immediately after the death of Muhammad, and he was the first Shia Imam. The issue of his succession caused a major rift between Muslims and divided them into Shia and Sunni groups.
