Ordinance no. 4 of 2021) along with United University and F.S. University and recognised by University Grants Commission (India) under section 12(f) of its act. It is first private university in not only Gorakhpur but in whole Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh. Ram Nath Kovind (; born 1 October 1945) is an Indian politician who served as the 14th President of India from 2017 to 2022. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is the second person after K. R. Narayanan, from the Dalit community to occupy the post. University Grants Commission (UGC) is a statutory body set up by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education in India.
