Satish Mahana
Satish Mahana (born 14 October 1960) is an Indian politician and Member of the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. Currently, he is serving as Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. He is a seven time MLA from Kanpur Cantt, having served since the 11th Legislative Assembly, and currently represents Maharajpur constituency of Kanpur. He participated in the 2009 general elections as a BJP candidate from Kanpur. He was the Vice Leader of Bharatiya Janata Party in 16th Vidhan Sabha of Uttar Pradesh and he is a former coordinator of Bajrang Dal youth wing of Vishva Hindu Parishad at Kanpur Purvottar District. Raja Ram Pal
Raja Ram Pal (born 20 November 1960) is an Indian politician with the Samajwadi Party, and was a member of the 15th Lok Sabha from Akbarpur (Lok Sabha constituency). Earlier, as a member of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), he had been a member of the 14th Lok Sabha from Bilhaur, before being expelled on 23 December 2005, along with ten others, after the sting Operation Duryodhana. The expulsion was sub judice when the 14th Lok Sabha finished its term. Life The son of Ram Nath Pal and Rukmani Devi, Raja Ram was born in the town Sirohi and attended D.A.V. College, Kanpur. The election to the 17th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly was held from 11 February to 8 March 2017 in 7 phases. This election saw a voter turnout of 61.11% compared to 59.40% in the previous election. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the election by an overwhelming three-quarters majority of 325 seats despite not projecting a chief ministerial candidate before the election.
