University Maharaja's College is a college in Jaipur, the capital of the Rajasthan state in India. Established in 1844 by Sawai Ram Singh II, it has been affiliated with University of Rajasthan since 1947. Maharaja college offers course on campus in Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Bachelor of Computer Application (B.C.A) at Undergraduate (U.G.) level. The college was granted the status of "college with potential excellence" by UGC in 2011. Allahabad High Court, also known as High Court of Judicature at Allahabad is the high court based in Prayagraj that has jurisdiction over the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was established on 17 March 1866, making it one of the oldest high courts to be established in India. History Prayagraj became the seat of Government of North-Western Provinces and a High Court was established in 1834 but was shifted to Agra within a year. In 1875 it shifted back to Prayagraj. Vidyadhar Govind Oak
Vidyadhar Govind Oak, I.C.S., (born 18 May 1909) was an Indian bureaucrat and Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court. Career Oak studied in Maharaja College, Government Madhav Arts and Commerce College, Ujjain and Holkar College of Indore. He graduated in Law from the Allahabad University and joined the Indian Civil Service on 12 October 1931. Initially Oak served as Assistant Collector and Joint Magistrate under the Uttar Pradesh Government in British India for five years and thereafter became District Judge. In 1954 he was the District Judge of Allahabad. He also worked as Judicial Commissioner of Ajmer for few months. In 1955 he was appointed Additional Judge of the Allahabad High Court. Vijender Singh Beniwal (born 29 October 1985) is an Indian professional boxer and politician. As an amateur, he won a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, becoming the first Indian boxer to win an Olympic medal. Gopinath Kaviraj (7 September 1887 – 12 June 1976) was an Indian Sanskrit scholar, Indologist and philosopher. First appointed in 1914 a librarian, he was the Principal of Government Sanskrit College, Varanasi from 1923 to 1937.
