Magnus Zetterström
Hans Magnus Zetterström (born 9 December 1971 in Eskilstuna, Sweden) is a former international motorcycle speedway rider from Sweden. He earned 3 caps for the Sweden national speedway team. Career Zetterström's first season in the British leagues was in 1996, when he joined the Poole Pirates for the 1996 Premier League speedway season. He returned to Poole in 1998, where he would spend seven seasons in total, split by spells at Peterborough Panthers. He would also make his Polish league debut in 1999 for Lublin. Zetterström became European Champion in 2002. In 2005, he joined the Somerset Rebels and went on to win the Premier League Riders' Championship, held on 24 September 2006 at Owlerton Stadium. He was also part of the Somerset four who won the Premier League Four-Team Championship, held on 20 August 2005, at Derwent Park. In 2008, he became the Swedish Champion. Eskilstuna () is a Urban areas in Sweden, city and the seat of Eskilstuna Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden. Start Gniezno
Start Gniezno is a Polish motorcycle speedway team based in Gniezno who currently race in 1. Liga. History 1958 to 1999 Speedway in Gniezno appeared during the inaugural 1948 Polish speedway season, a team called Unia Gniezno competed in the regional Third League. However, it only lasted the one season and it was not until 1956 that Start Gniezno started riding. The team won their first honours in 1958, after winning the second division. In 1980, the team won the bronze medal in the Team Speedway Polish Championship. Riders included Eugeniusz Błaszak, Leon Kujawski and Jan Puk. Allsvenskan (literally, "The National League") is the second tier in the league system of Speedway in Sweden and currently comprises six motorcycle speedway teams. Until the introduction of the Elitserien (speedway), Elitserien in 1982 the Allsvenskan was the highest level of Swedish Speedway. The SGB Championship Fours formerly the Premier League Four-Team Championship is a contest between teams competing in the second tier of speedway in the United Kingdom. Teams are grouped into fours, with one rider from each team in each race. The winners and second place of each group competed for the Championship in the final. History The competition replaced the National League Four-Team Championship (held from 1976 until 1994). It was first staged in 1995 when the Premier League was the highest tier of British speedway because the top two divisions had merged. The Elite League Knockout Cup was a speedway Knockout Cup competition in the United Kingdom from 1997 to 2012. History It was governed by the Speedway Control Bureau (SCB) in conjunction with the British Speedway Promoters' Association (BSPA). The teams from the top division of league racing, the Elite League, took part. The Elite League was the top division of Motorcycle speedway, speedway league competition in the United Kingdom, governed by the The Speedway Control Bureau, Speedway Control Bureau (SCB), in conjunction with the British Speedway Promoters' Association (BSPA). It was founded in 1997 and was sponsored by Sky Sports until the end of the 2013 season. The Speedway Grand Prix Challenge or Speedway Grand Prix Qualification is an annual speedway qualifying tournament to determine the qualifiers for the Speedway Grand Prix, which is the World Championship of speedway. History From 1995 the Individual World Championship was replaced by the Grand Prix system. The 17 qualifiers for the 1995 Grand Prix were the top 10 from the 1994 World final, 5 seeds and 2 wildcards. The Individual Speedway European Championship is an annual individual speedway event organized by the European Motorcycle Union (UEM) to determine the champion of Europe. The competition was founded in 2001 and was initially staged as a one-off meeting before the single event was replaced by the Speedway European Championship series in 2012. Holsted Speedway Klub or Holsted Tigers is a motorcycle speedway club from Holsted in the Vejen Municipality of Denmark, who compete in the Danish Speedway League.
