Magnus Skavhaug Nergaard
Magnus Skavhaug Nergaard (born 20 November 1989 in Tranby, Norway) is a Norwegian Jazz musician (upright bass & bass guitar), known from bands like Monkey Plot, Mummu, Ronja and Ich Bin N!ntendo. Career Nergaard is a graduate of the Department of improvisation and jazz at Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo (2013). His musical genres span over musical landscapes from improvised music, to rock and noise, often influenced by different kinds of world folk-music, and always trying out new approaches to create exciting new combinations. Nergaard collaborated on the album release ''Ich Bin N!ntendo & Mats Gustafsson'' (2012) including Joakim Heibø Johansen (drums) and Christian Skår Winther (guitar), featuring Mats Olof Gustafsson (baritone saxophone). Tranby
Tranby is a village in Lier municipality in Viken, Norway. The village consists mainly of three residential areas located in a semi-circle around a small forest area. Tranby is a part of a greater urban area which also encompasses the village of Hennummarka. The urban area is named Tranby and has a population of 5,322. Tranby Church (''Tranby kirke'') dates from 1855. It was designed by architects Heinrich Ernst Schirmer and Wilhelm von Hanno. The edifice is constructed of stone and has 360 seats. Access to the site is via Rv282 and Rv285. Name The name ''Tranby'' comes from the Old Norse name ''Trandabýr''. Anja Lauvdal (born 1987 in Flekkefjord, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (piano and keyboards) and composer. Career Lauvdal studied music on the Jazz program at Trondheim Musikkonsevatorium, NTNU, where she joined the acoustic jazz band "Moskus" together with fellow students, Fredrik Luhr Dietrichson (double bass) from Haugesund and Hans Hulbækmo Hans Hulbækmo (born 1989) is a Norwegian musician (drums, percussion, saw, Jew's harp and vibraphone) and composer, son of the traditional folk musicians Tone Hulbækmo and Hans Fredrik Jacobsen, brother of pianist Alf Hulbækmo, and known ...
