Magnus Egerstedt
Magnus B. Egerstedt (born June 28, 1971) is a Swedish-American roboticist who is the Dean of the Henry Samueli School of Engineering at the University of California, Irvine. He was formerly the Steve C. Chaddick School Chair and Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology. Egerstedt is a major contributor to the theory of hybrid and discrete event systems, and in particular, the control of multi-agent systems. Biography Education Magnus Egerstedt was born in Täby Municipality, Stockholm, Sweden in 1971. Täby Municipality (''Täby kommun'') is a municipality north of Stockholm in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Täby. Täby Municipality can be characterized as a suburb of Stockholm.
