Magnificent Warriors
''Magnificent Warriors'' (; also known as ''Dynamite Fighters'') is a 1987 Hong Kong martial arts action adventure film directed by David Chung, and starring Michelle Yeoh, Tung-shing Yee, Richard Ng Yiu-hon and Hwang Jang Lee. Plot Some time during the 1930s amidst the Second Sino-Japanese War, Chinese secret agent Fok Ming-ming is sent to Kaa Yi near Tibet to investigate the Japanese occupation that has been set up there. Ming-ming meets with Secret Agent 001, another Chinese secret agent who is to be her contact in Kaa Yi. They first run into a conman and then a rebellious princess, Chin-chin, who join them on their adventures. John Shum
John Sham Kin-Fun (born 1952) is a Hong Kong actor and film producer. His English name is sometimes written as John Shum. Whilst known primarily for his comedic acting roles in Hong Kong cinema, he also spent time as a political activist. Biography Shum was educated in Hong Kong, the UK and the US. Upon his return to Hong Kong, he co-founded "City Magazine" with John Chan, and worked as its editor. At the same time, he began working in television and radio. He was also a student activist in the 1970s back in his youth and was a member of a Trotskyist vanguard party the Revolutionary Marxist League. In 1983, he set up the film production company D&B Films, along with Sammo Hung and Dickson Poon. He later founded another film company with John Chan, Maverick Films Ltd. Sham's most prolific period working as an actor was during the 1980s. Of the 45 films he has appeared in, 33 were during this period. Chiu Chi-ling
Chiu Chi-ling (; born 1943) is a martial artist and actor who appears mostly in Kung Fu style movies produced in Hong Kong. He also teaches Hung Gar Kung Fu at Chiu Chi-ling Hung Gar Kung Fu Association, a San Francisco-based martial arts school he founded, and at the old Chiu Family Kwoon in Hong Kong rooted under the lineage of Lam Sai-wing. Every year he visits his students and grand students around the world and organizes worldwide Kung Fu tournaments. The Kung Fu style he is part of was passed down directly from southern shaolin temple and carries names like Hung Hei-gun and Wong Fei-hung. He has appeared in over 70 movies, both as an actor and stunt man. Hong Kong Action Films
Hong Kong action cinema is the principal source of the Hong Kong film industry's global fame. Hong Kong Legends was a United Kingdom DVD distribution company, based in Hertfordshire and operating from the UK and Australia between 1999 and 2007. Hong Kong Legends was initially part of Medusa Communications, who, along with Soulblade bought up the UK distribution rights for film titles previously owned by Eastern Heroes label. Hong Kong Legends released 101 Hong Kong classic films, primarily martial arts films and other action films.
