Magija (band)
''Magija'' ( en, Magic) is the eighth studio album by Serbian recording artist Jelena Karleuša, released on 22 February 2005 under City Records. It contains ten song, mostly covers by other oriental performers, which were recorded between June and December 2004. The record, which features samples from dance, electronic, oriental and Greek laïko music, is generally categorized as pop. In February 2004, Karleuša participated in the Beovizija music festival with "Moli me" featuring Marcus, placing 11th out of 28 entries. ''Magija'' was promoted with two music videos for the songs "Upravo ostavljena" and "Slatka mala", which were condemned by religious groups and conservatives for the " sacrilegious" use of Christian symbols and for promoting homosexuality by displaying drag queens. Jelena Karleuša
Jelena Karleuša ( sr-cyr, Јелена Карлеуша; born 17 August 1978) is a Serbian singer and media personality. Born and raised in Belgrade, she rose to prominence upon the release of her debut album ''Ogledalce'' in 1995, which was succeeded by five more records released in quick succession to moderate success. In 2002, Karleuša achieved further acclaim by collaborating with Greek label Heaven Music on the album '' Samo za tvoje oči''. Following the success of her subsequent releases, '' Magija'' (2005) and ''JK Revolution'' (2008), in May 2010, she held a concert in the Belgrade Arena, titled ''All About Diva Show'', in front of 15,000 fans. Marko Peruničić
Marko Peruničić (born 1979 in Belgrade, Serbia) is a successful Serbian composer/arranger/producer who has collaborated with over 100 best selling Balkan artists during last 20 years. He is involved in music since his age of 11, initially as the founder, arranger and vocalist of Belgrade's youngest hip hop group ever, Belgrade Posse. Together with Darko Asik, he managed Index Radio show "Do the right thing" and organized and DJ-ed a number of hip hop events in Belgrade from 1994–1997. Helena Paparizou (; , ; born 31 January 1962) is a Swedish-born Greek singer, songwriter and television personality. Born and raised in Sweden to Greeks, Greek parents, she enrolled in various arts schools before launching a career in Sweden in 1999 as a member of the laïko (Greek folk music) and Eurodance duo Antique (band), Antique, who participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 and afterwards became popular. Hi-Fi is a Russian dance pop group established in 1998, founded by composer Pavel Esenin and songwriter and producer Eric Chanturia. The concept of the group consisted of the male leader and two supportive dance-performers until 2006, when Katya Lee joined the group. Lee started her career in the band with the solo song "Vzletai".
