Giuseppe Maggiolini
Giuseppe Maggiolini (13 November 1738 – 16 November 1814), himself a marquetry-maker (''intarsiatore''), was the pre-eminent cabinet-maker (''ebanista'') in Milan in the later 18th century. Though some of his early work is Late Baroque in manner, his name is particularly associated with blocky neoclassical forms veneered with richly detailed marquetry vignettes, often within complicated borders. His workshop's output is somewhat repetitive, making attributions to Maggiolini a temptation. His clientele reached to Austria and Poland. Born in Parabiago, near Milan, he was the son of Gilardo Maggiolini, a forester in the service of the Cistercian monastery of Sant'Ambrogio della Vittoria, and after apprenticeship in a woodworking shop he opened his own ''bottega'' in the town's central piazza, which today bears his name. Tiziano Maggiolini (born 2 April 1980) is an Italian former professional footballer. Maggiolini spent most of his career at the third highest division. Club career Born in Rome, Italian capital, Maggiolini started his career at Lodigiani. Venezia In 2000, Maggiolini was signed by Venezia on a co-ownership deal, but immediately loaned to Palermo. Andrea De Cecco also joined Venezia in exchange. Under the ownership of Franco Sensi, Palermo promoted. Maggiolini played 13 games for the Sicilian team. In mid-2001, he returned to Rome on loan. In June 2002 Venezia sold back the 50% registration rights of Maggiolini back to Lodigiani, as well as selling the remaining 50% registration rights of De Cecco to Lodigiani. Alessandro Maggiolini (15 July 1931 – 11 November 2008) was the Roman Catholic Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Como, Italy. Life Born in Bareggio, Italy, Maggiolini was ordained a Roman Catholic priest for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milan on 26 July 1955. On 7 April 1983 Pope John Paul II appointed Maggiolini bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Carpi, Italy, and he was ordained a bishop on 29 May 1983. On 31 January 1989 Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop Maggiolini Bishop of the Como Diocese. Bishop Maggiolini retired on 2 December 2006. In 2000, on rumors about the retirement of Pope John Paul II, Bishop Maggiolini said: "The church is not Fiat or General Motors. Its criteria cannot be efficiency. Stefanía Teresa Maggiolini Fort (born 15 October 1986) is a Uruguayan football manager and former player, who played as a defensive midfielder. She has been a member of the Uruguay women's national team. She currently manages the women's under-19 team of Defensor Sporting.
