Maggie Pepper
''Maggie Pepper'' is a lost 1919 American silent comedy-drama film directed by Chester Withey and starring Ethel Clayton. This film is based on a hit 1911 play by Charles Klein which was a winning success for stage actress Rose Stahl at the Harris Theatre. It is not known whether the film currently survives. Both Rose Stahl's manager, Henry B. Harris, and the original playwright, Charles Klein, died in notable disasters: Harris on the in 1912, and Klein on the in 1915. Henry Miller (actor)
Henry Miller (February 1, 1859– April 9, 1926) was an English-born American actor, director, theatrical producer and manager. Born as John Pegge in London, Miller's parents immigrated to Canada where he started acting as a juvenile. He first performed at the Grand Opera House in Toronto in 1878. He played juvenile roles in the Helena Modjeska company and performed with Ada Cavendish in the Adelaide Neilson company. He joined the Augustin Daly company to play in ''Odette'' opposite Bijou Heron. They were married February 1, 1883 in New York. The following season, joined the Madison Square Theatre Company (Broadway theatre in New York City) where he starred with Minnie Maddern Fiske, Agnes Booth and Dion Boucicault. Charles Frohman
Charles Frohman (July 15, 1856 – May 7, 1915) was an American theater manager and producer, who discovered and promoted many stars of the American stage. Notably, he produced ''Peter Pan'', both in London and the US, the latter production starring Maude Adams who would be strongly identified with the part. In 1896, Frohman co-founded the Theatrical Syndicate, a nationwide chain of theaters that dominated the American touring company business, until the Shubert brothers grew strong enough to end its virtual monopoly. The Royal Opera House (ROH) is an opera house and major performing arts venue in Covent Garden, central London.
