Magdi Mehanna
Magdi Mehanna (born Dakahlia Governorate, Egypt, 1956-2008) was an Egyptian journalist and the founding editor of ''Al-Masry Al-Youm'' newspaper, where he authored a column entitled "In the Forbidden Zone." He also presented a talk show with the same name on Dream TV. Mit Ghamr
Mit Ghamr ( ar, ميت غمر, ) is an Egyptian center producing aluminium accounting for more than 70% of Egypt's total production, especially aluminum utensils. It is a city in Dakahlia Governorate, where it is second only to Al Mansurah in population and importance. Geography Mit Ghamr is located on Damietta branch of the Nile, and just on the opposite side of the Nile located another city called Zifta which belongs to Gharbia Governorate. Mit Ghamr is located in the middle of four governorates, Dakahlia to the north, Al Qaliobiah to the south, Al Sharqiah to the east and Al Gharbiah to the west. It is about 43 kilometers away from Al Mansurah and 28 kilometers away from Zagazig, the capital of Sharqia, also about 35 kilometers from Banha, the capital of Qalyubia, and 29 kilometers from Tanta, the capital of Al Gharbiah. Al-Wafd
''Al-Wafd'' ( ar, الوفد meaning ''the Mission'' in English) is the daily newspaper published by the Wafd party in Giza, Egypt. History and profile ''Al-Wafd'' was launched in 1984. As the house organ of the liberal-democratic neo-Wafd party, the paper is considered an opposition paper, although both party and paper have oscillated between support and opposition for the regime. It is one of the highest circulated papers among those dailies owned by a political party in the country. The circulation of the daily in 2000 was 600,000 copies. The 2005 circulation of the daily was 180,000 copies. Mohamed Ali Ibrahim was named as the editor-in-chief of the paper in 2005. Then Abbas Al Tarabili served as the editor-in-chief until February 2009. During the Egyptian revolution in 2011 Osama Heikal was the editor-in-chief. Dakahlia Governorate
Dakahlia Governorate ( ar, محافظة الدقهلية ', ) is an Egyptian governorate lying northeast of Cairo. Its area is approximately 3,500 km2. Although the capital of the governorate is Mansoura, it got its name from the ancient town of Daqahlah (, from ) which is located in the modern Damietta Governorate. Dream TV ( ar, قناة دريم) is an Arabic satellite television channel headquartered in Media Production City, Egypt. Dream TV was the first Egyptian private television channel, and offered two channels on Nilesat: Dream 1 and Dream 2, until 2015.
