Joaquim Jorge de Magalhães Saraiva da Mota (November 17, 1935 in Santarém, São Salvador – September 26, 2007 in Lisbon) was a Portuguese lawyer and politician. Background He was a son of Elói do Nascimento Saraiva da Mota (July 2, 1907 in Lisbon, São Vicente de Fora – February 11, 2000 in Lisbon) and wife (January 19, 1935) Miquelina Augusta Flor de Magalhães (b. Evandro Teixeira Magalhães (born 1 December 1986, in Juiz de Fora), sometimes known as just Evandro, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder, currently for Novo Horizonte. Álvaro Monteiro Magalhães (born 3 January 1961), known simply as Álvaro, is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a left back, and a current manager. He amassed Primeira Liga totals of 224 matches and six goals over 11 seasons, mainly with Benfica with which he spent nine years, winning ten major titles. Joao Pedro Lourenco Rocha De Magalhaes is a Portuguese microbiologist. He studies aging through both computational and experimental approaches. His ultimate goal is to cure human aging. Solange Magalhães is a painter. Solange Magalhães was born in France in 1939. Her family moved to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil when she was 13 years old. In 1963, after three years of studying theoretical physics, she chose to be a painter. She is an autodidact. She has experimented with various painting techniques – oil, acrylic, watercolor, India ink – on different materials such as canvas, paper and masonite. Rosa Lúcia Benedetti Magalhães (born January 8, 1947 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian professor and artist. She is best known as the most successful carnival designer in Rio de Janeiro, with six championships won since 1984, when the Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí was built.
