Mads Laudrup
Mads Thunø Laudrup (born 9 February 1989) is a Denmark, Danish former professional Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. He has scored two goals and played 29 games for various Danish youth national teams. Career Laudrup played for Kjøbenhavns Boldklub (KB), the reserve team of multiple Danish champions F.C. Copenhagen (FCK), while studying at "Falkonergårdens Gymnasium (Denmark), Gymnasium". He made his debut for the Danish under-16 national team in January 2005, and played three matches for the team, all as Captain (association football), team captain. In August 2005, he was called up for the Danish under-17 national team, and scored a goal on Penalty kick (association football), penalty kick in his debut game; a 4–0 win over Iceland on 2 August 2005. The team captain of an association football team, sometimes known as the skipper, is a team member chosen to be the on-pitch leader of the team; they are often one of the older or more experienced members of the squad, or a player that can heavily influence a game or has good leadership qualities. Michael Laudrup
Michael Laudrup (, born 15 June 1964) is a Danish professional football coach and former player. He is considered to be one of the greatest players of all time. He is the older brother of fellow retired footballer Brian Laudrup. During his playing career, Laudrup won league titles with Ajax, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus, playing mainly as an attacking midfielder, although he was also capable of playing in other attacking positions. He was a member of Johan Cruyff's "Dream Team" at Barcelona, where he won nine trophies, including four successive La Liga titles from 1991 to 1994 and the European Cup in 1992. Jesper Grønkjær
Jesper Grønkjær (; born 12 August 1977) is a Danish former professional footballer. A pacey winger, Grønkjær played primarily on the right or left wing, or as a second striker. He played a total 400 league games for a number of European clubs, most notably winning the 1999 Dutch Cup with Ajax Amsterdam and playing more than 100 games for English club Chelsea. Grønkjær ended his career with FC Copenhagen, winning four Danish Superliga titles with the club. Grønkjær was capped 80 times for the Denmark national team from 1999 to 2010, scoring five goals. Şaban Özdoğan
Şaban Özdoğan (born 14 March 1990) is a Danish footballer who plays for Ishøj IF as a playing assistant manager. He previously played for Danish Superliga club F.C. Copenhagen. Club career Özdoğan started playing youth football at Avarta. He moved to Kjøbenhavns Boldklub (KB) in 1999, the reserve team of multiple Danish champions FC Copenhagen. Lillestrøm Sportsklubb is a Norwegian professional football club from the city of Lillestrøm, just outside of the capital Oslo. Viasat Cup
The Viasat Cup was a 2006 Danish football tournament, starting at the end of the Danish Superliga 2005–06. The tournament was held due to Denmark's failure to qualify for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, a tournament which had caused FIFA to demand that the Superliga ended on 14 May. Viasat, holding the broadcast rights to the Superliga, and "Divisionsforeningen" contrived the tournament, and the most matches were broadcast on Danish TV3+. FC Nordsjælland won the final against Aalborg BK 3–1 on Aalborg Stadion, with AaB's Poul Hübertz scoring after just 40 seconds, but 25 minutes later Anders Due equalized. The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. History Founded in 1991, the Danish Superliga replaced the Danish 1st Division as the highest league of football in Denmark. From the start in 1991, 10 teams were participating. The opening Superliga season was played during the spring of 1991, with the ten teams playing each other twice for the championship title.
