is the eighth studio album by Chara (singer), Chara, which was released on July 18, 2001. It debuted at #8 on the Japanese Oricon album charts, and charted in the top 300 for 8 weeks. The first and most successful single from ''Madrigal'' was . While Chara wrote the song entirely herself, the arrangement was split between six people: Chara, rock musician Yasuyuki Okamura, Shinichi Igarashi (who formerly collaborated on ''Duca'' with Chara, two members of the band Great3 (Kiyoshi Takakuwa, Ken'ichi Shirane) and the guitarist for Kiyoshi Takakuwa's solo project, Curly Giraffe, Yukio Nagoshi. It reached #32, and sold over 25,000 copies. Skirt was released a few weeks before the album's release, and was used in a Pocari Sweat commercial. Chara (singer)
, better known by her stage name Chara, is a Japanese singer, actress and video jockey. She debuted in 1991 with the single ''Heaven''. She is known for her song " Swallowtail Butterfly (Ai no Uta)", the theme song for the 1996 Shunji Iwai film '' Swallowtail Butterfly'' in which she starred, her 1997 hit single "Yasashii Kimochi", and her collaboration with Judy and Mary vocalist Yuki, "Ai no Hi Mittsu Orange". Zentarō Watanabe
, was a Japanese musician and music producer. He debuted as a musician in 1986 as the guitarist for the band Shijin no Chi, later forming the duo Oh! Penelope with former bandmate Mutsuji Tsuji. Since the mid-1990s, Watanabe worked as a music producer, creating songs such as Chara's "Yasashii Kimochi" (1997), Hitomi's "Love 2000" and Ikimonogakari's "Hana wa Sakura Kimi wa Utsukushi" (2008). In 2000, Watanabe launched a solo project entitled Atami. Biography Watanabe debuted as a member of the band Shijin no Chi, through Epic Records Japan. Andy Chase
Andy Chase is record producer and label owner. He formed the band Ivy with Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne and Dominique Durand, now his wife. Chase owns Unfiltered Records and co-owned Stratosphere Sound studio with Schlesinger and James Iha of the Smashing Pumpkins Early life Chase grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. is a 2001 Japanese anime television series based on NanaOn-Sha's ''PaRappa the Rapper'' video game series created by Masaya Matsuura and Rodney Greenblat. James Iha
(born March 26, 1968) is an American rock musician. He is best known as a guitarist and co-founder of the alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins. He was a member until the initial breakup in 2000. Among his musical projects of recent years, Iha has been a permanent fixture of A Perfect Circle. He was most recently a member of Tinted Windows, a 1960s/1970s inspired group with members of Cheap Trick, Fountains of Wayne, and Hanson. He rejoined the Smashing Pumpkins in 2018. Iha has produced songs, contributed guitar and vocals, and produced remixes for a number of artists, including Midnight Movies, Isobel Campbell, Marilyn Manson, Whiskeytown, and Michael Stipe.
