Madonna King is an Australian journalist, author and media commentator. From 2006 until 2011, King presented ''Mornings'' on ABC Radio Brisbane. As an author, King has published several books, including the biographies of notable Australians Ian Frazer, Joe Hockey and Maxine Horne. She has also co-authored a book about the Bali Nine. In 2018, Queensland premier Annastacia Palaszczuk appointed King as chairwoman of the Queensland Government's fledgling anti-bullying taskforce, established in the wake of the suicide of teenage cyberbullying victim Amy "Dolly" Everett. ABC Radio Brisbane
ABC Radio Brisbane (callsign: 4QR) is an ABC Local Radio station in Brisbane, Queensland. It is one of the largest stations in the network, serving as a base for Queensland programming - many programs are broadcast across the ABC Local Radio network in regional and rural areas of Queensland when those stations are not carrying local programming. General history Radio broadcasting began in Brisbane in 1925 when the Government of Queensland commenced its own broadcasting operations with the callsign 4QG - 4 denoted the state of Queensland; QG stood for ''Queensland Government''. 4QG became a part of the ABC's radio network at its inception in 1932. Annastacia Palaszczuk
Annastacia Palaszczuk ( , Polish: Annastacia Pałaszczuk, ; born 25 July 1969) is an Australian politician who has been the 39th premier of Queensland since 2015 and the leader of the Queensland branch of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) since 2012. She was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of Queensland for the district of Inala at the 2006 election. Palaszczuk was a political adviser and lawyer before her election to the Legislative Assembly, succeeding her father Henry Palaszczuk in the seat of Inala. She held several roles in the Bligh Government from 2009 to 2012, when Queensland Labor suffered a historic defeat. Ben Davis (born 1974) is an Australian sports presenter and reporter. Davis is currently a sports presenter and reporter on ''Seven News Brisbane''. He has previously been a drive presenter on 4BC in Brisbane. The Queensland Government is the democratic administrative authority of the Australian state of Queensland.
