Miguel Filipe Machado de Albuquerque (born 4 May 1961) is a Portuguese politician of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the current President of the Regional Government of Madeira. He took office as leader of the PSD of Madeira on 10 January 2015. He was a former mayor (''presidente da Câmara'' in Portuguese) of Funchal, Madeira. Albuquerque likes gardening, growing many types of roses in his Duchess of Braganza Rose Garden and the Quinta do Arco. Portugal changed to a closed telephone numbering plan on 31 October 1999; previously, the trunk prefix was '0', but this was dropped. For landline subscribers, the area code, prefixed by the digit '2', was incorporated into the subscriber's number. The Portuguese postal code (''código postal'') is formed by four digits, a hyphen, then three digits, followed by a postal location of up to 25 characters in capitals. Western European Summer Time (WEST, UTC+01:00) is a summer daylight saving time scheme, 1 hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time and Coordinated Universal Time.
