Madang FC
Madang Football Club, formerly known as Madang Flying Fox, Madang Niupetro Fox or simply Madang Fox, was a Papua New Guinea football club, based in Madang. The club was one of the founding members of the Papua New Guinea National Soccer League in 2006, alongside Hekari United, Morobe FC, Gelle Hills and Welgris Highlanders, and are the only founding member still participating in the division, due to clubs folding or defecting to the rival Papua New Guinea National Premier League. Their most successful spell has come in recent years, since the NSL–NPL split, with the side having qualified for two consecutive OFC Champions League seasons, in 2017. and 2018. The 2007–08 Papua New Guinea National Soccer League season, known as the Telikom NSL Cup for sponsorship purposes, was the second edition of the Papua New Guinea National Soccer League. The title was won by PRK Hekari United, who picked up their second title. The Golden Boot was won by Hekari's Kema Jack, who scored 15 goals, while the Player of the Season award was shared by Ian Yanum of Welgris Highlanders and Ila Ilaita Jr of Gelle Hills. Lupe o le Soaga Soccer Club is a Samoan professional football club based in Tuanaimato. It currently plays in the Samoa National League. History Lupe o le Soaga was founded in 2011. 2017 OFC Champions League
The 2017 OFC Champions League was the 16th edition of the Oceanian Club Championship, Oceania's premier club football tournament organized by the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC), and the 11th season under the current OFC Champions League name. In the final, Auckland City defeated Team Wellington 5–0 on aggregate and won the OFC Champions League seven years in a row and nine times in total, and qualified as the OFC representative at the 2017 FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. Rapatona Football Club, formerly known as Inspac Rapatona FC, CMSS Rapatona Tigers FC, Moresby Casino Hotel and currently referred to as PKA Rapatona FC for sponsorship reasons, is a Papua New Guinea football club, based in Port Moresby and founded in 1982. The club was one of the earliest teams that competed in the Papua New Guinea National Soccer League, joining the league in its second season in 2007–08, and never failing to qualify for the championship playoffs in their four years of competition, reaching the Grand Final in the 2008–09 season. They also finished second in the Papua New Guinea National Club Championship on two occasions, as well as winning the regional Port Moresby Premier League twice, in 1989 and 2004. The Papua New Guinea Football Association, PNGFA is the governing body of football (soccer) in Papua New Guinea. The PNGFA is a member of both FIFA and OFC, having FIFA and OFC affiliation in 1966 after being founded in 1962. The 2015–16 Papua New Guinea National Soccer League season, known as the Telikom NSL Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the tenth edition of the Papua New Guinea National Soccer League. The title was won by Lae City Dwellers, who picked up their second title after defeating eight-time champions Hekari United 2–0 in the final. Both the Golden Boot and the Player of the Season awards were won by Koriak Upaiga of Hekari United. It would be the final season before the league split, which saw several teams split from the Papua New Guinea Football Association to form their own league, the National Premier League. Lae City FC, formerly known as Lae City Dwellers FC or Toti City FC, is a professional football club founded in 2014 and based in Lae, Papua New Guinea.
