Madala Panji
The Madala Panji is a chronicle of the Jagannath Temple, Puri, Odisha, India. It describes the historical events of Odisha related to Lord Jagannath and the Jagannath Temple. The ''Madala Panji'' dates from the 12th century. Madala Panji's role in Odia history While writing Odia history, historians like Sir W.W.Hunter and Andrew Stirling considered the facts related in Madala Panji as a base. The Madala Panji was traditionally written on a year-to-year basis. On Bijaya-Dashami day, the Karanas (official history writers of Puri, a caste of Odisha, involved in keeping the chronicle. This ritual is cited as a proof that the tradition of keeping this chronicle began with Odia king Anantavarman Chodaganga Dev (1078–1150) himself. There are some, like Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab, Dr.Nilakantha Dash and Dr. Krushna Chandra Panigrahi who hold that the Panji dates from the reign of Ramachandra Deva I who re-established the worship of Lord Jagannatha after Kalapahad said to have destroyed it. ...

Madala Kunene
Madala Kunene (born 3 April 1951) is a South African musician born in Kwa-Mashu, near Durban. Kunene started busking on Durban’s beach-front at the age of 7, making his first guitar out of a cooking oil tin and fish gut for the strings, soon becoming a popular performer in the townships. Early years Kunene's music interest was triggered at an early age. He started busking in Durban's beach front at the age of 7 with a self made cooking oil tin guitar. His music is influenced by his upbringing and the history of apartheid system which saw him being a victim of forced removal as a young person. Madala Backson Masuku (born 6 June 1965) is a South African politician, a former Member of Parliament of South Africa (MP) and a Member of the African National Congress (ANC). He is also a Central Committee member of the South African Communist Party (SACP). He was a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa and the Deputy Minister of Economic Development from 2014 to 2019. Madala Rangarao (25 May 1948 – 27 May 2018) was an Indian actor and producer primarily active in Telugu cinema. He was born in Mynampadu of Prakasam district. He is noted for Erra Cinema or revolutionary movies in Telugu film industry. He is popularly known as Red Star by people and associated with Communist Party of India and Prajanatya Mandali. Ranga Rao started his career with satirical Telugu film Chairman Chalamayya (1974).
