Mark Anthony Z. "Macky" Escalona (born September 27, 1984) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He last played for the Barangay Ginebra Kings of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted 10th overall by the Kings in the 2007 PBA draft. The Ateneo Blue Eagles are the collegiate varsity teams of the Ateneo de Manila University that play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere collegiate league in the Philippines. The collegiate women's varsity basketball team is called the ''Lady Eagles''. The Ateneo collegiate men's varsity basketball team was not always called the Blue Eagles. It got the name Blue Eagles when Ateneo adopted the ''Eagle'' as its mascot in 1938. Prior to that, from 1914 it was known under different names. Myx VJ Search
The MYX VJ Search is a special competition held annually by MYX, the number one music channel in the Philippines. It gives young people the chance to fulfill their dreams of becoming the next MYX VJ. Auditions are held at ABS-CBN in Quezon City, usually on four separate dates within the same month. After the auditions, 12 finalists are chosen who then go through a training experience process usually lasting up to two months. The MYX VJ Search is broadcast on MYX and split into 8 episodes, the last episode being the finals night, in which the winners are announced. The winners are chosen by MYX, through the text votes of the viewers and by the MYX team's own selection. For the MYX VJ Searches 2007, 2008 and 2017, four winners were chosen on the finals night, two males and two females.
