Macit Sonkan
Macit Sonkan (born 1953) is a Turkish actor. Born in İzmir, Sonkan studied Fine Arts and graduated with a degree in theatre studies. In 1978, he started his career by joining the Turkish State Theatres. Meanwhile, he continued his career in both cinema and television. Sonkan also directed and took part in plays for children. For his career on stage, he won a number of national awards. Ä°zmir ( , ; ), also spelled Izmir, is a metropolitan city in the western extremity of Anatolia, capital of the province of the same name. It is the third most populous city in Turkey, after Istanbul and Ankara and the second largest urban agglomeration on the Aegean Sea after Athens. ''Çukur'' () is a Turkish psychological thriller television series directed by Sinan Öztürk, and written by Gökhan Horzum and Damla Serim. It premiered on 23 October 2017 and concluded on 7 June 2021 with a total of 131 episodes (four seasons). Plot The control of Çukur, a district of Istanbul, identified with crime, is in the hands of the Koçovalı family. Although it is so closely related to crime, the family has its own rules. One of these rules is the drug ban. Drugs are not produced, used or sold in Çukur, but groups that are new to the game try to break the ban. Filming Çukur was shot in Balat district in Fatih district of Istanbul. The VPK-7829 Bumerang (russian: Бумеранг, Boomerang) is a modular amphibious wheeled infantry fighting vehicle and armored personnel carrier being developed by Russian Military Industrial Company (MIC) for the Russian army. It is not currently in service with the Russian Ground Forces. History In the early 1990s, the BTR-90 was developed as a replacement for the BTR-80 in the Russian Army. While it was a moderate improvement in armament, protection, mobility, and internal space over its predecessor, it all came at the cost of greatly increased unit price. It wasn't accepted into service (except in small numbers) as the modest increase in performance wasn't seen as enough justification for its cost and complexity. Purchases of the BTR-80 stopped in 2010 and the improved BTR-82 was obtained as a stop-gap measure.
